Tuba Masterclass

Cost: $ Free

All are welcome to attend this free class! Information about the artist: Joshua Sevigny is an active freelancer and educator based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his B.M. from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam graduating Magna Cum Laude and his M.M. from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee where he was a graduateteaching assistant. He studied with Jason Hahs, Charles Guy, Matthew Gaunt, Andy Smith, and Kirk Ferguson. As an ensemble member Josh performs with a wide variety of groups including the Sheboygan Symphony, Lake County Symphony Orchestra, Bel Canto Choir, Racine Concert Band, Antioch Brass Quintet, Big Top Circus Band, St. James Brass, and of course the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music Faculty Brass Quintet. As a soloist he has performed in front of orchestras, bands, an chamber ensembles throughout the Midwest. As an educator, Josh works in a variety of settings around the city of Milwaukee and maintains a small private studio. Josh enjoys doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, MMA, and hanging out with his wife and three cats.

Music Production Camp

Cost: $ 300

Join our week-long Music Production Camp here at Andre Alfonso Music. In this week-long camp, your child will learn the basics of recording into a DAW, how to use an audio interface and microphones, and capture quality recordings of themselves and others, and make electronic music. Students will upload their recordings and music videos on the final day to YouTube or take home a digital copy online. Students will have access to our recording studio to produce music and use our various practice rooms to produce their beats.

AAM Summer Jazz Program

Cost: $ 250

Are you ready to play in a one week intensive jazz band? Well get ready! We need horns, drum set players, keyboardists, bassists and guitarists. Minimum 2 years of playing experience required on your instrument. Open to all school age students. Students audition day one and will be placed into one of two bands. Take classes on music theory, improvisation and sectionals with other like instruments.

Woodwind Week

Cost: $ 250

Join our week-long woodwind camp where students take group lessons and masterclasses with expert woodwind teachers. Play in a chamber group, learn advanced techniques to help improve playing skills, develop range and tone, and make friends with other woodwind players. Must have at least 2 years of woodwind playing experience. Open to all school-age musicians.
